Ami was created in the summer of 2004 by Ryan Pankratz and Michael Korchonnoff in Eatonville, Washington, originally as an experiment to explore their developing songwriting techniques. Since that time they have continued this project, self-releasing and distributing three albums, Ami (2004), The Face Behind the Mask (2005), and Lost (2006). Ami currently remains the sole vision of Michael and Ryan, both contributing all instruments and vocals on all recordings and live performances.
